Clophosome® - Clodronate Liposomes

FormuMax offers two innovative types of clodronate liposomes: Clophosome® and Clophosome®-A. Clophosome® is encapsulated with neutral liposomes and is capable of depleting 80-90% of macrophages in the spleen after a single intravenous or intraperitoneal administration. Clophosome®-A, our second-generation clodronate liposome product, is made up of anionic lipids and is even more effective, depleting over 90% of spleen macrophages after a single intravenous injection. Both Clophosome® and Clophosome®-A are manufactured under an endotoxin-controlled process and offer superior activity, shelf-life, and ease of use.

Our clodronate liposomes are available in various combo kits and vial sizes (2 mL and 10 mL), and evaluation samples can be requested. Additionally, we offer high-potency neutral Clophosome® (20mg/mL) for applications requiring high doses of clodronate in small volumes, such as intratracheal, intranasal, Intracerebroventricular (ICV), or intratumor injections. We also offer lyophilized Clophosome® (both neutral and anionic forms) with exceptional shelf life, that can be easily reconstituted to regenerate the original Clophosome® product.
