DPPC/CHOL/mPEG2000-DSPE (50:45:5 mol/mol) Liposomes with Ammonium Gradient (100nm)

The DPPC/CHOL/mPEG2000-DSPE ammonium liposomes are ready for loading of weakly basic compounds. Although DPPC does not offer the ideal drug retention capacity as DSPC does, because of its relatively lower main phase transition temperature (41 deg C), it is often used for studing drug release as a function of lipid chain length or when a faster drug release is desired.
